Who are these guys?

Your group leaders are committed to taking care of the group, period.  Do we enjoy ourselves?   You bet.  This is a vacation for us, too, but we've chosen to take it with a whole group of train fans because we want all of you to experience the 'cool stuff'' alongside us.  Let's face it, it's a lot more fun to watch fireworks in a group of people all going "ooh" and "aah" than by yourself, isn't it?  We feel the same way about trains.

Five-Star Hotels, Gourmet Meals

Not on our trips, frankly.  That's not to say we don't stay in clean and comfortable hotels, or eat at decent restaurants.  Our tours are designed to be affordable, and our idea of 'something special' would be a steam train ride up the Geislinger Steige versus a Shiatsu massage at the spa.  Plus, we're saving up for those trips to the model train shops as well.

A Schedule Packed With Activities 24/7

Again, not how we like to travel.  We like having cool things on the itinerary as much as anyone.  But we also like to relax and do some exploring on our own.  Not to worry- if you like to cram as much experience into each and every day, there are always members or trip leaders who are happy to take you along on their extra outings and adventures. ​ And we can help fill your days off, too.

Don't let his quiet demeanor and slim build fool you.  Andreas has spent more time around beer than Andre the Giant (world record for drinking beer- look it up).  Aside from helping us with brewery tours, his knowledge of Hamburg's red light district is second to none.

Carsten Ramcke
Spreadsheet guru, 1-scaler, identifies as female

If European-train-themed group tours were a buddy comedy, Carsten would be Tommy Boy.  Even if the tour sucks, he'll make sure you enjoy yourself.  Or at least convince himself that you're having the time of your life without a care in the world.

Marshall Stine

Marshall is a bit of an enema.  Wait, I think that was supposed to be 'enigma'.  Still, as the 'sane one' of the three group leaders, he's the one to follow if there's a crisis or plans go sideways.  Andreas and Carsten are likely having a beer in the pub next door anyway.
